Tasks
- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions from data preparation to model development and production readiness
- Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable data pipelines and ML workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science models into production environments
- Contribute to building and enhancing MLOps pipelines
- Apply advanced analytics in the area of customer analytics within a banking context
- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable data solutions aligned with project goals
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, ideally within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong combined expertise in Data Science and Data Engineering, with end-to-end capabilities from data preparation to model development and deployment readiness
- Proven experience in developing and implementing MLOps pipelines
- Experience working with modern data and machine learning tools such as Dagster, dbt, and Feast is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of customer analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Professional proficiency in English is required; German is considered a strong plus
- Ability and willingness to work in an international nearshore setup based in Romania
- Availability to start between July 20, 2026 and August 3, 2026
- Willingness to travel to Zurich approximately every two months for 2–3 days (planned in advance)
